How Nze Mbikooye works
Buy and sell used and new items in Uganda — fixed price or auction, with Zandya Care support.
For buyers
- Browse the marketplace or search for an item.
- Open a listing. For auctions, place a bid before time runs out. For buy-now, purchase at the listed price.
- If the seller accepts offers, you can also make an offer.
- Use Ask the seller for questions (keep phone numbers and payments inside Zandya where possible).
- Winning or buying is a commitment. Prepaid checkout is rolling out — follow prompts in My Account.
For sellers
- Go to Sell and upload clear photos (gallery or camera).
- Choose Buy now or Auction, set price, delivery method, and whether you accept offers.
- An insertion fee is recorded when you submit (payment collection comes later).
- After approval, your item goes live. Open your listing to see bids and use Edit listing.
- Accept a winning bid or sale, then complete delivery via pickup point or agreed logistics.
Auctions
- Bids must be higher than the current bid (minimum step applies).
- Countdown shows time left. When it ends, the highest bid can win.
- Optional Buy It Now ends the auction immediately at that price.
- You cannot bid on your own listing.
Fees
- Under UGX 50,000 → UGX 1,000 insertion
- UGX 50,000 – 199,999 → UGX 2,500
- UGX 200,000+ → UGX 5,000
- Auction format → + UGX 500
Fees appear under My Account → Listing fees. Prepaid collection will follow.
Safety
- Complete KYC in My Account → Settings when selling seriously.
- Report problems with Report to Zandya Care on a listing.
- Avoid sharing private numbers in public descriptions when possible.
